একটা অস্থির সময়ের মধ্যে দিয়ে আমরা চলছি। আজ গণতন্ত্রের চতুর্থ স্তন্ত নিয়ে চারিদিকে নানা প্রশ্ন উঠছে। প্রশ্ন উঠছে সংবাদমাধ্যমের দায়বদ্ধতা নিয়ে।

এমন এক কঠিন সময়ের মধ্যে দাঁড়িয়ে আমাদের ক্ষুদ্র প্রচেষ্টা ‘ডা: প্রেসক্রিপশন’। কাজটা সহজ হবে না জানতাম, তবুও বিশ্বাস ছিল আমরা পারব। কারণ কোনও রাজনৈতিক দলের কাছে দায়বদ্ধ আমরা নই। আমরা দায়বদ্ধ সাধারণ মানুষের কাছে। মানুষকে চিকিৎসা সম্পর্কে নতুন নতুন দিশা দেখাতেই আমরা নিয়ে এসেছিলাম সম্পূর্ন নতুন ভাবধারায় বাংলা স্বাস্থ্য বিষয়ক পত্রিকা।

আমরা অভূতপূর্ব সাড়া পেয়েছি মানুষের কাছ থেকে। পাঠকরা নিজেদের মতামত দিয়েছেন, জানিয়েছেন, ‘ডাঃ প্রেসক্রিপশন’ সম্পূর্ণ ভিন্নধর্মী একটা উদ্যোগ। এখানে মানুষের সুস্থ থাকার প্রেসক্রিপশন লেখেন সয়ং বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসকরাই।
